Palin's Lack of Experience Doesn't Make Her Obama

The Republican spin machine, also known as the media, is trying to build up John McCain's running mate, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, by claiming her lack of experience is no different than Obama.

Let's get something straight.

Between the U.S. Senate, and the Illinois Senate, Barack Obama has 11 years of public service. And as Al Gore pointed out last night, that's the same exact record of service another person had who went on to become one of our greatest presidents, Abraham Lincoln.

Sarah Palin has less than 2 years in public office, all of it serving as Governor of Alaska. We're not picking on Palin, neither for her time served or for being a woman. It's high time we open the door to closed jobs to everyone of all race or gender. But less than 2 years experience does not equal 11 years experience. Palin's lack of experience does not equate her with Obama on any level, unless one has undergone a lobotomy and believes the b.s. the Republicans spit out in every breath.

The latest spin comes from the Associated Press, the same organization who referred to Obama as "Osama" and then gave John McCain coffee, donuts, and a standing ovation.

They don't even try to hide their intentions. The good news is we don't have to accept this phony journalism.

Tell the Republican Party and their media war dogs that eight is enough. We stopped believing their nonsense years ago. It's time to back that up with our votes.
