When is Prosecuting Crimes "Retribution"?

More bullshit from Obama and the Democrats. I'm getting really sick of these pinheads just playing Evil-light to Bush and the GOP.

The latest crap:

Obama and top Dems oppose investigating and prosecuting former Bush officials who OK'd torture. They want other Dems who support investigations and trials to shut up. The reason they give is the same excuse they have for not prosecuting Bush, Cheney, and the other goons who stampeded on the Constitution and international laws, that it would be a distraction and could appear as retribution.

Let's just stop prosecuting every criminal then. It's certainly a distraction. People are taken away from their jobs to serve as jurors, and just think of the hours we waste following news of trials, TV re-enactments, etc. Think of how much productivity businesses lost from workers glued to the O.J. trial.

And holding people accountable for their crimes is definitely retribution. That's the definition of holding someone accountable for their illegal behavior.

So stop right there and realize, that once again, the richest, most powerful people get a free pass for breaking the law. The difference is, this time it's a President, Vice President, and countless staff who committed hundreds, perhaps thousands of individual crimes, including conspiracy.

The Dems are either complicit, or gutless. For 8 years they allowed Bush to destroy the country and couldn't even mount a coherent rebuttal. Now we have them giving Bush and Co. another free pass.

It's bullshit. While everyone is busy patting themselves on the back for electing Obama, they are ignoring what's going on. This presidency so far has been a train wreck. I understand the country is in chaos, but Obama's moves are not only not helping, he's reneged on every campaign promise.

The Change We Need apparently was just Business as Usual.

If you, dear reader, are turned off by my opinion, then stop reading, stop visiting the site. I'm going to continue to rant and scream when politicians misbehave, when they screw the country to benefit themselves, no matter what party they belong to, and especially if I voted for them.
