Celebrating Wacko Jacko the Unofficial Catholic Priest is Wrong
Michael Jackson, the most famous unofficial Cathlic priest in the world, has died, and his death has instantly turned into a media circus. Fans and celebrities are rushing out their eulogies for the man who not only was accused multiple times of molesting children - but who also paid families to settle molestation charges out of court - this is just too much.
Have you ever never heard someone say, "Father Flanigan molested a lot of kids, but he was a damn good priest!" Or "Father Flanigan raped my child, but the old priest had a voice from heaven!" No. So for all these people to suddenly forget or conveniently pass over Jackson's "dark side" and, and let's be honest, molesting children is not a "dark side" - it's unforgivable criminal behavior. They're missing the entire point. It's not sad that Jackson died, it's sad that he went down a monstrous path.
I would bet the victims of child molesters do not morn the death of their abusers. For society to forget that is inexcusable. Michael Jackson was a living, breathing monster. Who gives a shit if he could sing?
